That probably explains why my espresso equipment took up almost 40% of my kitchen space....no wife to veto such moves! Then I found myself lusting for an Idrocompresso (dual-head lever commercial) until I discovered it was discontinued July 2015 due to poor sales. Just as with straight razors, I have this romance with the ways of old.

After months of contentment, my strop AD kicked in big time due to a slight mishap last weekend with my Tony Miller.

For that reason i have ordered a new Tony Miller strop, an SRD 'Roo' strop and a Kanayama #60000.

The first step in curing AD is admitting you have AD. Now I need a sponsor.

That and if I take any more bench space in the kitchen my wife will throw it out
Add on to the bench before she wakes up :-) thanks

Wonder where this blade was inspired from?
And did the same artisans make this one right before or after a W&B, Rodgers or a Wostenholm!?!

These two beauties arrived today - spectacular specimens, can't wait to take em for a shave.

This weekend, managed to also grab another Palmera #14 - full 24mm wide, going to need a severe cleaning, listing said no cracks, just dirty and needed cleaning, if the Spanish translation was correct - gotta love eBay Spain!!

Very nice Andrew, and congrats. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't envious. Make sure you bring all 3 to the next meet. I wanna see em!

Beat up as heck though...surprised I was the only bidder on this one...

Pics or it didn't happen, this looks like the old Henckels 14 that Wolfpack restored in terms of listing condition, looked like shite, but took a chance, think this one will clean up nicely, one pin scales!!:
