    These two little beauties. They should tidy up very nicely.

    @Maladroit
    Is that a matched pair?
    I do have a serious soft spot for pairs.

    I'm quietly confident that they are, but I'll know in a few days

    Got my rocks in the mail today. I had built a box to hold all my stones last weekend. So for your rock enjoyment...

    I think I'm all set now. I wanted to splash and go and not soak. Got the 1K in the Chosera/Pro. And now I have 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 12 in Naniwa. Also my fist two combo Norton stones. 2 holders and 2 DMT's that are 352, 400 and 1K. I'm dont buying stones for a while now! Oh, I have a Jnat and a Barber Hone too but they are not in the box. Yet.

    I got a lot of lapping ahead of me before I can do anything else! Hoping they wont need much.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

    Mail call. Missing from the picture is some pieces of bog oak from Ontario, for a box I am working on for a gift to my daughter.

    There is all kinds of stuff here. A box from Texas containing some stuff I had shipped to Texas and a couple of projects, a nice set of matched razors, some loaner blades, and a nice reconditioned NOS strop.

    Got a small bonus at work, and decided to fill out my line of Shapton Kuromakus. Nothing to get too excited over since I have plenty of middle-grit options, but I have a 1K, 2K, and 5K on the way. Should be fun to play with.

    I"d tried to order it from some HD Dealers online as the bag was about $40 less but they were all out of stock and didn't know if they would have it by the time I ride out in July. So I called the Lewiston dealer's parts manager and struck a deal of 15% off. So today I picked it up, installed it and rode the 100 miles back to the Boars Nest.

    I stopped after the first 25 miles and checked and it was still rock solid. I then checked 40 miles later and still solid.

    It's sure much nicer than the Mickey Mouse Setup I used last year.
