I have a tube of Proraso Red and a boar brush for my nephew on the way from Straight Razor Designs.

Between the new staking fixture and the mini lathe from Lee Valley you should be able to perform watch magic. Your broad spectrum skill sets are inspiring.

Well, it IS an obscure, sentimental watch, hehe. Mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.

Going to take a week to clean this thing properly. Such a tight fit, every one of the 100 punches will need to be polished before they slide properly in the press once more.
Never expected to find one, but there it was at a antique shop in Guelph.
    Bam. Christmas money all spent.

And yup between the taig, and this, I should be able to deal with the odd vintage watch repair challenge that comes along.

I have a Slahly live blade razor enroute. 'Weak on vibrate' the seller said.
Another Lipshaw strop! No Ebay shopping in the new year!

On the Stahly, I have always been intrigued since I saw Richard had put the head on a regular handle .
He related they shave good. Gonna start a thread!

Hmmm. Another lipshaw, how do you find those. They rarely come up in my eBay searches. The Stahly sounds very interesting.

Rotate up, get some coffee, sit back down and grab a razor, strop it.

In fact, strop about 5 or 6 down the line while you are at it!
