As usual just cruising around the forum and discovered praise for Gillette Silver Blue DE blades. Naturally, since I’ve never tried them, I ordered some. While I was there I remembered how much I like Proraso Green shave soap, so added a tub to my cart. They’ll be here in a few days!

Funny you mention, couple of months ago I realized I didn't have any Proraso White, not that I used it that often, but the White is one of my favourites, next morning, had to head to a store I know stocks it - thanks - now I know what soap I'm using for tonight! :-)

Got this in the mail today. Why I don't know. Guess its H.A.D. and the fact I didn't have one. Like that's a good excuse.

Yep, That's 8" in length and the standard 2" width. It has a few chips on the ends but the sides are smooth and rounded. It has a bit of a warp so that the middle is high but that's end to end. Think this shouldn't be an issue. Side to side it's flat.

So that's my newest acquisition to the stone cabinet.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

Just ordered a Maggards 28mm SHD fan knot for an empty Simpsons Chubby 2 handle I had kicking around.

Jerry, that thing is huge! Never seen a barber hone even close to that size. First look at the picture and I figured the ruler was centimeters.
