Sorry I have just realised that i was somewhat remiss, welcome to the forum :)
Back on topic today I have been told by the mighty one (aka the other half, mother of my daughter) via a text while I was at work to "stop buying razors Mike that's 4 in 4 days its just silly". In all fairness she is probably right but eBay is just soooo tempting with those cheep old razors. I didnt have the heart (OK OK the balls) to tell her 3 more should be coming next week he he. Out of the 4 I would say 2 are savable, 1 is quite frankly junk and 1 I'm not sure about.
That first one though (and the one I did actually pay the most for) is an absolute belter, apart from a bit of rust on the spine and tang its in pretty good condition and no visible wear to the spine. I think I just got lucky really.
Anyway I think for the time been 7 old razors that need work is enough to keep me going and if I buy any more I suspect one might be used to remove my testicals :chop:
Don't worry mike1011, after awhile they just get numb to it and aren't surprised anymore...
Hmmm I do already have a fairly extensive collection of hones due to my knife obsession but soaps and creams are something I could see myself getting into. Good plan, next text will be "Mike stop buying soap you have a box full its getting silly" :) I suppose though a good thing about soap is that it does get used up unlike razors and hones which will only get bigger and bigger and never get used up !
