I think if you read the very first page on my website it will explain why stock is low.

A simple "Sorry, Tony" would seem more appropriate to me in this case. moreover, I had already answered your previous concern by saying there's a little revam (essentially summarizing the thread suggested by Kentriv) :shrug:

Spring Break time at The Well Shaved Gentleman! We are taking a few days this week to redesign the hanging strops used in our kits and to build up stock again on all of our various paddles. Most items other than the #1 Best strops will show as "Out Of Stock" for a few days while we make these up and not be available for ordering for a few days. Everything should be back by the 26th. We have some new leathers and hardware coming on the #2 and #3 strops as well as new 2" and 3" paddle strops.
But you have a valid point - maybe Tony should use red + bold + large font to emphasize the "Out of Stock for a few days" explanation

I think most visitors to the site will read the text and understand, bold, red, or not and simply check back in a few days.
More harm is done though by a new member here making uninformed comments about another's business practices and others deciding to debate them as well.
One would hope a moderator would wander by and see this as a pointless thread and one I refuse to debate further.
Normally I would not comment at all but I sit here simply amazed at what some people will post.

Nothing is wrong anymore. Mistakes were made, appologies offered and it would seem accepted. It is a small thing. There's no reason to harp on it. What Tye was referring to EAD is that other sites (SMF sited as an example) tend to have a lot of misunderstandings and people blowing up at others. We like to do our best to treat each other with gentlemanly respect because it makes us feel more comfortable here. Troublemakers can go to any of the other multitude of sites where beligerant behaviour is normal. Here we are more generous ... usually. :D

Yep we're more of a "pat you on the back" crowd then a "stick ya in the ribs" crowd.
I have a real dislike for the Aussies but I try to keep this to myself ---and the Canadians don't get me started on the Canadians ;).

Guys, I propose we let this thread die so EADs mis-information and attack works it's way down the list. Since the moderators will not remove it maybe it will simply stop on it's own.
I have no issue with someone posting if they were unhappy with service or products though I would hope I would be contacted first. That is their right.
This though is lunacy. A new member unhappy that I removed a few items from my website to redesign makes a bunch of half baked accusations on me being bankrupt, etc.... simply because he wants something now and can't wait 3 days. Instead of the slander being removed it gets debated.
Man are people going to be mad when I take a week to go to the beach this summer <g>
