Looks to me like your strop is all ready to go!

'Gorgeous mounting ring, but the height for comfortable stropping would be undoable for me. Somewhere between waist & navel level should be alot more comfortable.
The pic doesn't (maybe can't) convey the feel of the leather. Possibly PM HidestoArt. He's been at it longer than most pros.

Your strop looks great. But for me I would raise the anchor point. Good luck and have fun.
Lynn's strops hang in a similar manner below the countertop and he seems to get by OK.
Personally though I would prefer it a little higher and would put the lion's head in contact with the underside of the counter. However, that would mess with the great aesthetics you have in its current location.
Another thought...You should move it over to the right side of the cabinet door. Otherwise you are likely to get it wet too often in its current location just in front of the sink.
