Classic Edge is great too. I just got a razor back from them and it's awesomely sharp. Great people to deal with too.
Well I hope my reply doesn't get removed this time. My last message was removed for various reasons. I'll try not to get it removed this time. I'm a nice guy & try to keep that from happening again. It had to do with bashing & I was trying my best not for that to happen. Anyway things like what happened to you shouldn't even happen. It's in the why people word things on their sites. Best of luck in the future. Avoid sites that don't have a phone number to contact them. I'll write ya!
I bought that same razor when I first started. I't felt like it was just sharp enough to pull my whiskers out by the roots when I got it.
After honing (and MUCH practice) it gives a very good shave. Don't throw it out.
Obviously not the highest quality but a good razor to practice honing / stropping so you don't take a chance ruining a more expensive one. Yes, it can be made very serviceable.
I think those are made in Pakistan and I still think the handle and pins are cool.
I'm still using the strop that came with my kit, but it's a different one than is in your link.
You will want to upgrade later though.. just to many cool razors out there.
