One of them will be http://straightrazorpalace.com/showthread.php?t=7412 - Lynn's DVD.
Lynn Abrams's "World of Straight Razor Shaving"
Yes, it's extremely good.
I definately agree with these comments. The DVD is great and will significantly cut down your learning curve. With this said I cannot get a shave that I am satisfied with by just using the WTG passes that Lynn covers in his DVD. Christopher Moss's definitive guide to straight razor shaving at shavemyface.com spends more time talking about the different angles that can be used to get a closer shave. This helped me tremendously and I highly recommend it to anyone else looking for more information on shaving angles to supplement the great information on Lynn's DVD.
I'd be very surprised to hear anyone say they don't like that DVD. It's really all you could want as a beginner.

Ok, you asked for it... "I didn't like the DVD"...
Now I'm even more interested in straights and it's costing me $$, so there :p
Can you give a link to "Christopher Moss's definitive guide to straight razor shaving" I have searched that site with no luck.
Thank you :tu
If you only saw a with the grain pass on the DVD, you must have been sleeping during that part. There is both a with the grain and cross grain pass shown as well as explanation regarding the mustache.......There was also an explanation with regard to use of the paddle strop and I showed the Loom strop as well. I still strongly recommend the hanging strop when it comes to stropping and the flat bed hones to help out with the pastes if you use them. I really felt that 3 1/2 hours was enough for you guys, especially new guys out of the blocks.
Have fun.
Lynn
Lynn did show against the grain. I think Lynn also wisely made it clear that everybody's face/beard is a little different. So what works for Lynn's chin may not be exactly right for you. Lynn did a good job showing the basics. The rest is up to us to experiement with and find what works. I've been at this for about 10 months and I'm still adding and dropping techniques. I expect this to continue for some time. Just my $0.02 :w
