my honeing vs honemaster

So I have been honeing using film on a china razor whos name should not be mentioned on this forum lol. Well it has been feeling good when I shave so I put it up against the same china razor i bought new and shave ready off a guy on the classifieds. his razor on my left side my razor on the right side of my face. well first pass, no compition his razor won...... so second pass i forgot to check.... but after third pass I remembered to check so I quickly wiped off face and faceterbated. Both were bbs since I dont stopafter the first pass ever that will do..... I do have alot of room for improvement and we did use different honing technique.the end resuld was the same....:p
