I have been thinking of buying one, seems like it would be better than stretching my neck in front of the mirror over the sink. Has anyone used or have one of these. Any recommendations or ones to stay away from.

I do and love mine. Check Amazon.
Pictures? I am just about finished the wife's new bathroom, a little fixer up is going to happen on mine.
I find my little counter top between two walls needs the big mirror across the back.
The two shaving mirrors are mounted on either side of it.
I find, at my age, they are useful for many more things than only shaving. Nose and ear hair bug me a lot so I try to keep it to a minimum. Double checking my mouth for "stuff" is also often done.
Now, the ones with the fixed bar swiveling on a pivot connected to the wall wear out quickly. To the top left of the photo) The pantograph, old style seem to hold up forever. (On the right side)

PS Magnets to swing the razors after use
Wow....That set up kicks A$$! I so want a single pane mirror in my bathroom.... I like the smaller mirrors too.... I need one or both of those. The one we have has 3 mirror doors on the medicine cabinet. When one of them is slightly open....messes my vision up somewhat. I actually shaved tonight not wearing my glasses. I told my wife that and she looked to make sure I didn't cut an ear off...... :rofl2:
I too have been looking at adding one to my shave den. I actually have several saved on eBay but haven't pulled the trigger yet as I really don't want to spend more money.
Have your SO look at Goodwill and Savers, occasionally. Both of the ones shown were under $10. There are some other styles also.
The single pivot type are cool but unwieldy for use and wear out quickly enough to cause wall damage under the small pivot due to friction when moving the mirror..

Thanks for this! I've been looking for ideas on how to manage a second mirror so I can shave the back of my neck without handholding a mirror. Found an accordion style magnifying mirror on Amazon for $39.99.
Should have posted this with my earlier post...sorry

Wow, that's expensive! They are only £4.50 here ($7). I have one and it is excellent. When I moved into my new house, the bathroom sink is under the window which is great for light but there was nowhere to put a mirror. Got one of those and fixed it to the adjacent wall and it is perfect. I can move it closer or further as I want. Hate the magnifying side though as I keep missing my face!

Mine is lighted and has an articulating arm. It's been in the same spot for 8-9 years. It's great for close work around the stash and goatee, and like Richard said, a bunch of other stuff. Hard to imagine shaving life without it.

That's it......I am buying one maybe 2. What more can I have coming in the mail.
I need something like that. I just posted a search on ebay for 'Wall mounted shaving mirror' and there are 264 listings ! Anyway, I'll check amazon out and read reviews. Thanks to the OP for posting the question and all who replied.
That's like the one I've had in my downstairs bathroom for the last 15 years, was always great to have, but was absolutely perfect for when I took up the straight razor, never have used the other high magnifying side though, it's just great to be able to position it where you want, whether occasionally close in if you want to get a tough area under your chin, or back it off for the full view, and easily swings out of the way. Must have AFAIC....
I've recently added the extendible swivel with reg mirror on one side and 10 X on the other.
Not cheap but love it.
Before I purchased the mirror I used to think I was getting fairly close shaves. :nono:
