Those are fine choices to start your wetshaving future with. If you are new to all of this take
time to read as much as you can in our library which will give you confidence to begin. Besides a shave ready razor the most important thing to remember is always be aware of where that blade is on your face as you shave. Enjoy and welcome to the forum.

Looks like you made some fine choices to start!! Nothin to be scared of! In a year or so you'll be a pro!!
Seriously thou, been at it since March and have gotten so much better. Take it slow and try a dominate hand cheek from sideburns down to jawline. It's the bends and curves that get tricky. Still nick my chin occasionally because when I " flex " my chin it gets craters like the damn moon! Gotta stop doing that!!
Good luck, have fun and remember " slow and steady wins the race "!

I have used those very products many times, except the strop, mine is a hanging strop. Might I suggest you put your location in so people near you can step forward should you need local help.

    That's a great starter package.
Make sure the razor is "shave ready." Not all new ones are.
    Enjoy!!

That is a great way to begin! Take it slow and step back if you start to get frustrated it will take awhile but the effort is worth it!

Thanks Pete. Yes it is shave ready.

Thanks to everyone for the positive reinforcement!

I am home now and with all the running around I did today I wasn't able to make it back to office to pick it up!

Oh well, I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

    Cheers!

You're off and running, take her slow and easy and you will be just fine.
