I always hated shaving with cartridge razors. Always putting it off as long as possible. Now that I have and use a SR I look forward to shaving. Only been SR for a few weeks now but I love it. Wish my hair would grow quicker so I could shave everyday. Shaving three or four times a week now instead of the two times I used to.
I have hated to shave for many years. After I had a heart attack and started taking heart meds the irritation only got worse. I stopped shaving in April of this past year and said the hex with it. I have now found that srshaving with a properly honed razor provides a wonderful shave with no irritation or burn. I am really enjoying shaving for the first time in my life.
Hopefully your shaving continues to be great! Also, I hope your health is better too.
Ron, first off I'm glad you have found something that works well for you. I was wondering, what led you to straights after deciding to call it quits. It seems like a bit of a pricey leap for something that you have always hated so much. Did someone recommend it, or maybe just a curiosity?
I started watching some videos on you tube and saw some by Lynn Abrams and geofatboy and decided to give it a try. A beard really isn't my thing and it was time to try something. I have always hated it because of the irritation but the heart meds made it 3 times as bad. I have been shaving dailey for 1 1/2 months with a str8 and love it and look forward to my evening shower and shave time
