Welcome, Pri3st
Kits?
Tony is our hero ... http://shop.thewellshavedgentleman.com/
He's a great guy to deal with and will do what he can to meet your needs.
Soap?
PM churley. http://straightrazorpalace.com/member.php?u=1086 She makes my favourite soap ... Leatherneck
If you want a cheaper blade or second hand stuff, just start a WTB thread in the Buy/Sell/Trade Forum.
Don't hesitate to ask anything around here. These are a great group of guys who ove to help others get great straight razor shaves.
Good to see you here.

I might know where you can get a DVD that will help you out.........hahahahaha
Make sure you search all the key words of interest as well as ask questions. There is a ton of great info in here including links, FAQ's and other Documents.
Have fun.

The dvd made by the person who "might know where you can get it" :w is a great way to learn even for old-timers, not to mention newbs. Tony will hook you up with everything you need to get started and keep going. Colleen's (churley) soaps are the tops and even though I love Leatherneck, you should also try Cavendish black. If you like more subtle scents or mentholated soaps, pm Giovanni (tryphon).
