    Default Newton & Ward's American cutlery

    Hello, I am new to this forum and was looking to get some information on a straight razor i purchased when I was antiquing. I am just looking to know when it was manufactured and where possiably. Thanks for all the help.

    What you have there is the Klingon Negh'Var straight razor . The scales are make of an impalpable translucent G20 Super-polymer. The blade is an advanced magnesium alloy. Manufactured around 2285.

    There are actually several out there to be found, in antiques stores & flea markets; they are just hard to spot. Great shavers though,,,

    In your reply box, there is an option on the second row that says "insert image" when your cursor goes over it. Click on it,,, use the "from computer" option,,,,it will go to your computer,,, find the file on your computer,,, then upload it.

    I have tried multiple times when I select the file and hit upload files a little red ! pops up and wont let me so I have no other clue how to upload a photo

    Bear888 welcome to the forum. I dont have any info on your razor as far as manufacturing, I would guess its around 1860's. It has horn scales (handles) and is a near wedge blade. Guessing around 3/4 blade width.
    If you're curious about that measure from the top of the spine to the cutting edge and this will give you blade width just be careful of your fingers in case it is sharp. Scales appear to be broke at the wedge end but sure looks like it would clean up nicely. Hope this helpsbin some way.
