Question about Crox spray and strop

Found out I had some SRD chromium oxide spray from long time ago (went long time without using anything but stone to refresh edge) so instead of buying paddled strop (still might buy later) I used it on back of my strop.
Strop I have is SRD premium IV with the default webbing back. Would say I did about 5-6 sprays on the back side letting it dry for now then will give it second coat and let it dry over night.
Has anyone had problem with this affecting the other side of the fault webbing on this strop or is it fine? I might buy felt or something for the back depending on the results but thought I would ask this.

CrOx gives me green fingers. I use diamond spray paste for refreshing the edge, not for daily stropping.

As long as you did the inside and not your outside daily strop it should be fine as long as your careful not to contaminate the rest of the strop. If the sprays done turned it green you shouldn't nerd to repeat. A little goes avlong way.

Just using to touch the razor up whenever I don't have time to get on the touch up stone. Is on the back of the webbing in my strop. I usually just use leather but sometimes the webbing if it needs a bit extra. Hopefully this will be nice when it needs a bit more

You have to spray a LOT on a strop to get it to bleed through. Even if it did it wouldn't be the end of the world. CrOx is fine enough a few errant specks shouldn't hurt anything.

I took the poly webeing off mine and turned it to a standalone hanging strop that's pasted on two sides. Works fairly nicely for touch ups with CrOx on one side and .25 micron CBN on the other.
