he is straightrazor as acute as shavette?
Greetings from BCN
A straight razor is slightly less sharp (keen) than a shavette but it also much more frgiving when using and has a nicer feel on to the face as the blade is typically better polished (smoothed out).
Your question is "will a straight razor be sharp enough?"
Yes, it will, it can be so sharp that it scares you.
You are in Spain? One of the best razors ever made is the Filarmonica #13 or #14.

Yes, you are in Barcelona -Spain-.
Buy dovo 6/8 not to shave ready in spanish. It sharpens i myself. I do not have a reference on as acute must be. I shave with, does not make pain but he is not very comfortable. For that reason the question if it must be similar acute like shavette. Filarmonica was very well-known in the barber'ses shop of Spain in years 50, at the moment no longer makes.
Thanks for your help.

It seems it would be very hard to get it as sharp as the Shavette. You would need jedi hone skills, and a laser sabre, er, Shapton 30K. And it would help if the razor is a Puma, I hear.
So for you, practically - it won't be as sharp, most likely. But it should still be able to get sharp enough for great shaves
Cheers
Ivo
I did not mean to imply that it would be as sharp as a shavette or any DE blade. Just that the straight razor can be so sharp that it is almost scary and can be unforgiving.
