I will definitely correct the heel first, I just meant it will probably be some time before I get to it.

Heel first, then high angle honing until flat, then set the bevel. Sounds simple, but it is a lot of work.
I've got a burned out, frowned blade that I got in a lot. It will never function as a razor again, but it would be good for practicing and removing a stabilizer and frown before you do your good razor. Let me know if you want it to practice reducing the stabilizer on.
