#1 Make sure your razor is 'Shave Ready Sharp'--Factory edges rarely are

ANYONE can post ANYTHING on FB but.. on here there is a lot more fact checking and passing on of valid, useful information.
I'm sure you'll find the help you're looking for here. The searches yield very good results as well remember if you've thought of it likely some else has started a thread on it. Easiest way to begin you research and then start a thread of your own to bring relevant, new ideas to light or just rehash old ones!
Oh, a good thing to know is to see what's new on the site there is a quote new posts " icon in the top left corner under the home icon. That will show you what's recently been posted. That's probably the best way to bone up because you'll find answers to questions you didn't even think to ask by reading through those
