Hi,
today I found my chin skin scaling... could it be a side effect of the bad razor burns of the last days? Does a razor burn lead to the same consequence of a sun burn?

Sounds like you may be using too flat an angle and actually scraping or chaffing the skin. Give it a couple days to feel better and try again. I would only take on a small portion of the face at a time until you get used to shaving with a straight razor. I usually recommend from the sideburn on one side down to the jaw line and then as your ability improves, move over to the cheek and then chin.
Good Luck.

Thank you for your suggestion Lynn, I'll wait 2 or 3 days and I'll try again.
Ouch! Been there....as Lynn says, wait 2-3 days for your skin to recover. Find some alcohol-free face moisturizer or after-shave balm to help sooth the skin. Most toiletries shop will have some (Bath and Body Works, Crabtree and Evelyn, etc.).
Greg
It may just be that you take too long to shave and the foam dries your skin too much.
Solution is to moisturize - as Greg suggested. (Untill you get the time down, if that's the reason to begin with)
Cheers
