Yup, some pics!
Rare bird and part of American Razor history!
From a search of our archives.....
"1911: H. N. Platts leaves W. R. Case & Sons to form Western States Cutlery Co., Boulder, Colorado."
I apologize first time on any forum. Have no clue how to post pic. Can do with an email or text.
My email is coltguy65@gmail.com
We have PM's. You have done well attaching pictures.
That is what I typically see when pics of WSC razors show up. Well used and that says something.
A bit of research on the name Platts in the search box up top-right will show much more.
Looks to me its had a long life. Used a lot. Honed a lot but without a lot of spine wear. I nice american razor. But its at the end of its life. Its restorable and useable but not worth much at this end of its life.
We dont put money values on razors but you can look up on eBay for american razors in about the same shape to get an idea. Approximately early 1900s so not real old for a vintage straight razor.
BTW, Welcome to SRP.
