OK, I'm the OBI - Obsessive Compulsive Idiot that proposed a list of abbreviations to Lynn. WHB - With His Blessing, I put this together.

Hopefully, this will help everyone get a better handle on what some of the acronyms used around this forum actually mean.

I think this should be a sticky in the Newbie section or in the General section, personally. But a bump for now.

I used the Report Post button to ask a mod to sticky this. They may not have seen our newbie requests for stickifictation, but at least with the Report Post, I know that at least one moderator will see the post (and hopefully the requests)...

Make sure you add NSFW - we almost shut down the site because of it few months ago.

She who must be obeyed was what "Rumpol Of the Baily" called his wife (when She was not around to hear him) " Rumpol" was the title character in a series of semi autobiographical books about a British Barrister. It was also made into a "Masterpiece Theater"

Maybe you're just doing it for fun, like kids vandalizing private property with spray paint. Maybe. But I don't think so. No, I think you are the leader of an insidious international organisation of pre-teen girls hell bent on destroying the English language and human rights. your thinking is FUBAR! it has been a while since i have been called a "pre-teen girl" :) but think how happy you should be that somebody provided a list for you to learn from. or else you would still be puzzling these thing out.

i know when i found a similar list on another site last year it saved me asking lots of questions.
