Tried my first shave with a straight this morning. I hit the inch above my beard on both cheeks, and below the beard on my neck.
I now see exactly what some of you have talked about. I need to work on my technique, angle, etc. but at least it worked and I didn't draw blood.
I stropped it 50 times, and worked on different angles. I had to finish that tough stuff on my neck with my safety razor, but I worked it most of the way down with the the straight.
I could tell that the higher my angle, the more it felt like I was trying to cut with a piece of dull glass.:cry:
