I'm in; this dumpster shaving I've been doing just isn't the experience I've heard so much about. . .

This my first post. Please include me in the give away. This is a wonderful forum and I enjoy everyone's knowlege and enthusiasm on the topic.

After my first shave attempt (a few nicks here and there) I found the razor not to be as sharp as I thought so until I can afford a proper strop I am using one of my old belts. Please, tell me that I am not damaging my razor doing this. Im hoping shave number 2 will be smoother than the last.
