Manganese steel

I own a dull Bartmann that needs sharpening...
i know Manganese steel is something special so i'm wondering if there's anybody who could explain me what i need to do to get this particular blade sharp enough?

Bartmann's are quality blades for sure but the fact that it says manganese steel is just advertising hype. back in the good old days they could say anything so you often see blades saying carbo magnetic, manganese, molybdinum steel, etc and its all true because the steel contains these alloys. So nothing special about honing. Its the same as any other carbon steel blade.

Hone like any other carbon steel razor.
