You will be fine! Do you hone your own razors? I think you will find it to be a great razor. A lot of the people on this forum are very, very picky about razors. I would bet that some of the faults that they find would not even be noticed by the regular guy. I have a 5/8 Dovo "Dark Star" and a 6/8 Dovo "Bismark" and they both do very well for me. I like the Bismark better because I found out I just like a slightly bigger blade and it gives me really great shaves. I got a vintage 6/8 no name from Germany on e-bay for $20, cleaned it up and it is one of my best razors.Quote:
