I've spent several weeks reading the forums before receiving a Dovo as a wedding gift from my lovely bride. I then spent another week ordering an extra-wide Dovo strop, and a Norton 4000/8000. After following the advice here (or so I thought), I attempted a hone. I realize now that I need it professionally done, at least the first time.
Anyone out there in California who would like to help a rookie? Thanks.
Mike Ratliff TheWellHonedRazor.com has honed 3 of my razors and done a beautiful job, and he is in CA.
don't know about anyone else, but shipping is shipping, is shipping so it may not really matter who you send it too. I sent my other blades to lynn, and that was a super sharp blade.

You must've missed the NOT part :) no worries, the razor will be fine. David (heavydutysg135) is at the other end of CA. You want to PM and check, sometimes people get busy and can't do a quick turnaround.Quote:
