STOP!
Before you buy anything else
Have a look here:
Brands of Straight Razors to avoid - Straight Razor Place Wiki
and here:
What Every Beginner Should Know - Straight Razor Place Wiki
Pay attention to the "shave ready razors" and "Choosing a razor" section of the second link. The Wiki will save you hours of heart and face ache as well as money!
If you find a vintage blade on ebay that you are considering, do what you did here and post a link asking about it if you need to.
Good Luck!

I would not recommend buying that razor. I bought a very similar razor off eBay (may even have been from the same seller, can't remember now) - and it was of a very bad quality . The blade was warped so badly that it wouldn't even fit into the scales .....

I'd get a pre-sharpened (old or new) name brand from a member on the B/S/T forum.

ok :) thanks for all the info guys :)........what is B/S/T/ :/ :( lol

B/S/T is the abbreviation for the Buy/Sell/Trade section, which is now the Classifieds (third tab on tje menu at the top of the page).
