I think you're going to really like that DOVO fake turtle. I have one that is just the bees' knees. (How one gets to kneed bees from turtle scales, I don't have a clue;:shrug: regardless, it's one nice razor:tu)

Just starting out and hoping to pick up a dovo blade this month. I am growing a beard now to save money on shaving so I can buy the tools that I need when spring time comes back around! I am so glad I found this forum I am learning so much! :tu

Nice first razor. I know you will enjoy it.
I hope that you ordered your razor prehoned. No matter what the razor manufacturer says, the razors are not in shave-ready condition.
I also hope that you got a strop. If you have not purchased one, Tony Miller makes one of the best. Even his apprentice strop is a nice strop.
