I found this one at a local antique store. They had some junk as usual but this one caught my eye so when I looked at it and saw how good the blade and all was I jumped on it for $16!
It's a Lion brand Damascus steel made in Germany. The molded image is a Pea**** with all the colors still in good shape. I think I did pretty well on this one.

Thanks I appreciate it. You just never know what you'll find:-)

Looks great Gunner! Right on the money too!:tu

I never heard of that brand but it's a German made razor so I figured it's worth that small amount especially with a blade that nice.
-
Wow Gunner! You are almost as ugly as I am;)! Nice blade by the way!
Lion Brand manufactured by Yankee Cutlery Co.Were around from 1903 to 1929 according to my sources!
Yankee Cutlery Co. was located in Germany between 1903 until 1953.

LOL!! Sorry about scaring you:-) My camera is with my daughter at college so I had to use the built in camera on my MacBook. I'll try to cover my face next time:-)
Thanks for the info on the company. That's always interesting to know when these old razors were made. I appreciate it.

One of the many Cat brands out there, and yes it should turn out to be a fine shaver, nice score !!!!!

Thanks that's good news. I thought it was a good one. Now I just need my hone and strop to get here so I can get the blade right:-)
Oh I'm not unhappy just concentrating on holding the thing steady so the picture turns out ok--LOL. My daughter took our camera to college with her so I have to use the camera built into my Mac Book:-)
I got this one last night:
