Thanked: 5Wrinkles
Being a corn fed country boy, I'm probably a few pounds heavier than the average joe. I have a large neck and have wrinkles on the lower portion of my neck... however, the ol' beard trails off about that point, but a few raskles remain. I feel like i'm going to slice off a chunk of my neck when I reach this area.... Can a few wiser men give some advise??

Thanked: 0I'm no expert, but I find the neck to be one of my problem areas as well. The thing that I find key to a good neck shave is taughtness. I do this by this by raising my head as high as possible, then with my free hand I stretch the skin out and down at the base of the neck just above the collar bone. I then lay the spine of the razor againt the skin and gently roll it up to 20 or 30 degree and begin the stroke. So far this has worked for me with no cuts as of yet.

Just get creative with stretching. For those areas, I look up and jut my chin out, then use my free hand to selectively stretch exact neck areas.

As mentioned above, it's all about the stretching. Get is as taught as you can to prevent the razor skipping & it'll be easier.
