Earlier I reported here about my first no-injury three-pass shave. On my very next shave I popped up two bright red bloodberries. Didn't even feel the nick. Ah well, that's why shaving with a straight is an art. :)

At least if you didn't feel the nick you know your razor's sharp!
At least I don't shave the way I golf. Replacing the "divots" would be a real mess.
I've found that I get overconfident with every injury-free shave, and the next time I will slash myself just from being (a little) careless. ;)
Btw, I didn't feel my last two cuts either.
:chop:
yeah, I'd say you were asking for it, reporting on it. :)
don't jinx it !!! :ziplip:
Ive probably cut my fingers more times than my face.I think nicks are part of the process, kind of a warning reminder you are getting a little careless.Razors are cool but they are not toys!:)
Overconfidence is something that I'm sensing now that I've had a few great shaves. Its as strong as the feeling of excitment when I pulled out my new razor.
I do that same thing when I bowl or play golf...once good strike or drive and I feel like I'm king. Then humility seems to shadow victory.
Wax, on, Wax, off and take your time...at least that's what I'm telling myself these days.
Yep, best not to go down the slippery slope of confidence --> ****y --> @$$hole. Inanimate objects can always sense when I get too confident and strike back. :D
