First Open razor question?

Hi, my first thread got deleted guess I asked too many questions, but not sure? Anyways I just bought this
DOVO SATIN FINISH STAINLESS RAZOR - NEW - No Reserve! - eBay (item 390030770450 end time Feb-19-09 10:28:36 PST)

Any thoughts, did I pay too much? Do I need to get it honed by an expert!

It looks like a very nice razor. Inox is a stainless I believe. If that is a vintage NOS, I think you did fine:tu (actually, you didn't do bad either way). You will probably need to have it honed by someone who knows what they're doing.
