I know this should go in the AS section, but people don't really seem to pay attention to it so :P
Have any of you ever tried putting coffee beans in their home made aftershave?

I've never heard of it but I'm a coffee freak so if you get a good formula let me know:tu Paco
For what purpose? Do you just like the smell that much?
My sister-in-law puts coarse ground coffee in some of her bars of soap, but that's not aftershave... It works like an exfoliant, like Lava soap, but not as rough.

"It gets you up in the morning..." :D

You should make a request with colleen or sue. I love anything coffee and would love to try it as cream or soap!
Do you prefer your aftershave regular or decaff?
Is this for the smell or to create an inexpensive fake tan?
What is this world going too.. next thing is probably putting whiskey in your coffee... or bayrum...

Well I was just curious to see if it was possible. people put cinnamon sticks and other spices in their homemade brew so I thought why not coffee? Pre de provence has a gree tea caffeinated splash so..
I know Mama Bear makes some coffee shave soapbut I still haven't tried it(I'm not sure about using shave products that I associate with food, but once I get over that hurdle I'll be sure to try it).
HBS also sells a Coffee Mocha scented soap. It's one of my favorites, especially on those hard-to-wake-up monrings.

This is starting to sound an awful lot like the Burger King aftershave thread.
