You can buy an absolutely fantastic strop, made by Tony Miller in Maryland, USA; plenty of options and price range.

I am a very happy customer. You'll find other raves about his products on this site.

I'd check out the actual stropping length on that strop - make sure what the 17.5 inches refers to - overall length or length between fixings that you can actually strop on. The Dovo strops I;ve seen look a little bit on the short side...

looks like some good shoices. excellent choice on the practice razor to hone on. make sure you get one made of quality steel or it will end in frustration :gl: and keep us posted
I've had the urge to buy one of those Prima Klangs myself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with it.
"Singing" razors have a possible downside. I think they are less forgiving of bad honing or shaving technique. But as you are buying it properly sharpened and you have experience with a Shavette, I think you'd be OK.
I think you're making some good choices. The only thing I might add would be, if the price differential wasn't prohibitive, a natural coticule with a blue side and a yellow. Also Howard sells what he calls a cotigura stone. Generally known as a slurry stone. If you go for the yellow/blue cotcule ask Howard if he has a yellow/blue slurry stone to go with it. Other then that I think you have made some excellent choices. :gl:
