I am unaware of any restrictions on straight razors on cruise ships but it may mot be a bad idea to check. Probably the only thing that comes to mind is to pack the strop in a way that does not create wrinkles ;-).

If I was going on a cruise again.. i would just take the DE. That is me personally though. I have found that I wanted to get out of the cabin as fast as possible every day to go experience what I was there for! Just an opinion!!!
Really Paco (Francisco?), assuming that you going to the Caribbean, what I suggest that you do is to bring lots of $$$$ so you can stock up on after shaves. The Bay Rum from these islands is Excellent!!!!!! If you stop in Bermuda Royall or try the Dominica if you stop in, well... and St. Johns if you stop in the Virgin Islands. There are others but these are some of my favorites. Disclaimer: a lot of people do not like Bay Rum, try it before you buy it.

I read on the instructions that came with my tony miller strop that you should not roll it up, especially tightly. I would slip it into some sort of plastic bag and try to keep it flat. Maybe lay it between the layers of clothes. Hope that helps.
Most cruise ships have stabilizers so there is very little movement however with only 2 shaves under your belt I don't think I'd be using a straight while underway. probably the DE is best on those days.
Just don't take the razors as carry on and if they are really nice razors since you have to put them in your checked luggage I'm not sure I would chance them being removed by the handlers.
