I find my hand get's in the line of sight if i just use the one. I'm far from ambidextrous, but learned to use the non dominant for shaving.

Congrats man! And to have living help with you is priceless.
Should we break the news about our various diseases now? (RAD, SAD, MAD, HAD etc...) :rofl2:
I've never seen anybody shave with a straight IRL let alone show me how to do that.
Help from Glen must have saved you from at least a dozen newb pitfalls..
I would say that that must have been priceless..
Hope you will love the straight shave experience as much as I do..

Welcome and congrats on your first str8 shave.
I've been in it for a year now and I'd still be nervous to have someone like Glen standing by and watching me. As has been said many times before, you're very lucky to have Glen as a teacher.
Man, I wish I had a brother in law who happened to be a straight razor guru.
First let me thank all of you for your encouragement. It is wonderful to have people share their experiences and expertise.
Another shave with Glen by my side. This shave no blood. That's encouraging in itself. I even was able to shave my neck. I still need to work on the jaw bone area. The last place I need to shave is the chin. I'm taking it slow and enjoying the learning process and a much better shave. Glen took the time to teach me to strop again. I have to say I'm slowly getting it. I know if Glen wasn't here it would be a much much longer road.
Again thank you everyone and I look forward to learning a long the way.
God Bless,
Don
Keep at it, glad you're enjoying it.
