I have not noticed any difference in quality although it would not surprise me if there were some differences in the manufacturing process between the two.
Also, I am not entirely convinced that every razor that comes from the wapienica region was made by the same process, during the same general time frame, the same company, or even the same factory. I would be really interested to see if anyone comes up with some more solid history on the manufacturer of these razors we call the wapienicas :)

I don't know; I would guess that would be sufficient unless there is some edge damage. But I've never used the 4k/8 with pyramid scheme so can't speak from experience thereQuote:
