Hello all my names Nathan and I'm relativly new to straight razors. Doing some homework and currently have 3 fairly used fairly old straights that I've aquired. Currently have a henckels 401 platinum, henckels #50 and a Joseph Rogers & sons. Just waiting to send them out to get fixed up and honed.

You will be very happy with your razor when you get it back from Max. If you have one that just needs to be honed, (I have no time for restoration work this summer) I'm still doing free honing.

As long as your post does not say, I want to start shaving with a straight razor to save money, I think you will be fine. My wife just found my paypal account. I am in big trouble now, but I have some nice razors :)

thanks Utopian the only one with a decent blade is my 401 henckels but the scales arnt in the best condition the other 2 are in need of a restore big time. im holding off shaving with one till i get them fixed up or if i can find a good looking henckels or JR&S. :DQuote:
