Wilkinson Sword
I am moving houses, and accidentally packed up my razor with other essentials that will be buried for the next week or so. I work at a hospital and figured that I would scrape off my beard with the cheap blue disposable razors that we give to patients. Low and behold, there were none to be found, but I did find a green Wilkinson Sword surgical prep razor. This this is meant for slicing through thick chest or head (or other) body hair, and has twin stainless steel blades. This is the sharpest throw away blade that I have ever encountered, and it initially cut the hell out of my face until I realised that you had to treat it like a straight, and let the weight of the razor guide you. It still isnt the best way to shave, but it certainly works in a pinch, and I might just use one again in a couple of days, when my face heals.

Besides, I shaved with a Fusion yesterday.
But I made up for it by buying a George Savage off the classifieds, and a new TGQ soap order!

you stole hospital supplies (you know, those supplies that, when issued to me cost $20 for a ****ing bandage...)

I shaved with a serated steak knife once. Darn thing kept rotating with the point towards my ear, all of the weight is in the handle. Had to treat it like a straight.

There are a number of medical razors out there. I have one straight in SS with a cadeusis (did I spell that correctly?) on it. There's probably a SIG somewhere for medical razor folk . . . You may want to hold onto the thing even after it's not shaing well.

I once had to shave with a pointed stick. I grew the tree from a nut, chopped it down with my bare hands and gnawed the razor out of the heartwood with my teeth. Then I used the same stick to kill my way out of 50, no 75, screaming Chinese communists.... and there I was, surrounding myself..... only my homemade wood razor between me and certain death......
