Is your razor coming as shave ready or will you need to get it honed??

Welcome, good luck, go slow and enjoy one of the best pleasures in life.

The TM strop was a good choice. I would recommend
not stropping before your first shave, and then stropping
as per the wiki afterwards:


Razor stropping - Straight Razor Place Wiki

This is just to ensure that if you damage the edge by
stropping that you can tell by that shave compared to
your first one.
