First off: Praise the Lord I read the post by Lynn that advised to only shave 1/2 of your face with your new tool....yes it is a shavette and not a true straight razor...I managed a couple little spots of bleeding...one of them just kept pouring blood out....I finally got it to stop after cold water application and layers from a styptic pencil...those things sting pretty well but hopefully my technique will improve over time and I will not even need that thing...The tingling/burning is beginning to subside a good bit...dont think I'm gonna finish my glass of wine though...dont really think I need to thin out my blood stream any right now....so Im still excited about all of this and look forward to learning much from you fine folks here at SRP - thanks for all the encouragement so far and here's to improving my process....and happily I dont need to go :gwh:for the post office now....Here is a real question about it though...how often should I put a new blade into the shavette....and what is the best procedure for cleaning up the blade afterward and daily care for it?
Thanks alot you guys....
