Second Shave
Well, I waited two days and shaved again yesterday morning, some things went better than the first time. I was able to shave my chin smoothly and under my nose without having to breakout the Fusion razor at all.
I now have a whole new set of nicks and cuts to go along with the old ones. :D
I can't wait for tomorrow, so I can shave again. I used to hate shaving, now at least I am enjoying it...

It's so good to read enthusiastic stories. I now exactly what you mean :D
The "I can't wait till tomorrow" feeling is awesome!

When I first started I used to shave everyday-but I have to say that after about 20 shaves my face looked like I'd done 3 rounds with Sweeney Todd- I counted 9 fresh and older cuts all over my face and it looked a real mess!
If I had my time over again I would leave a couple of days between each shave.
I now only shave every 48 hours to rest my skin.I also apply aftershave balm to my face every day whether I shave or not.
So-without being a killjoy,go easy on yourself and give your skin a chance to heal.I know how impatient you are to learn the skill but your skin will thank you for it in the long run.
Don't do what I did and become"scarface".
Regards
Noggs :)

That is good advice about waiting a day in between to give your skin a chance to recouperate.
Besides, at least for me, it is more fun to mow down longer stubble when shaving with a straight razor anyway. Have fun.

I personally wait 3 days as I have realized str8 razors LOVE "hair whacking" when I have a good n thick beard after 3 days ;-)...1 day actually isnt an option every since my last near BBS shave..and 2 days isnt that great so I think 3 is my "sweet spot"..good idea finding yer "shaving accuracy"
