So..how many cremes in tubes or jars do you guys have..I'm curious to know as I rotate between caswell massey creme I'm finishing up and Derby blue package creme..I also ordered Godrej Fresh Lime/Original and Old Spice Fresh Lime/Original scent ALL made in India
..dunno there's something about lime n original flavors which still have a light scent PLUS they are 100% synthetic made and work well for me..Salycilates are off limits for me. :matrix:

I know, I know :)...but, I wouldn't call it SCAD just yet :nono:...When I started I didn't know which ones I would like, so I just bought a dozen over a few months just to develop a sense of scent and performance...after all, every face (and nose) is going to be different.
It turns out that I like most of these very much and I don't have a favorite, although I must say that CarrieM's and NancyBoy's are right up there. I love rotating through my cremes depending on mood...Choice is a fantastic thing.

I have more soaps than cremes......but I must say the creams are obviously much easier for me to use and the scents are stronger. I'm now kind of partial to cremes because the scents of the cremes are making shaving even more rewarding........I guess my tastes are refining? :shrug:

To answer an unasked question, I like the first seven because they're "hard" creams; that is, not only are they physically hard (like soap), but they also lather like soap (you can keep adding water -- lots of water -- without worrying about the lather getting thin or, well, watery). I have the last one because sometimes a man wants a light shaving cream; you know... like lite beer? For guests?

Found a nice way to keep a selection of 5 stacked at counter top.
Cost Plus sells stackable coffee cups in a chrome wire rack.
For the creams the medium rack, at approx 4 inches diameter, remove the coffee cups insert the tubs.
For soaps I got the larger mugs. Leaving the cups in the rack, the puck of soap is always covered. Nice to always have a quick choice at hand.

Ingenious to say the least. Did you purchase the 9 oz. stackable mug set for your creams and the jumbo stakable mugs for your soaps?

Nuts...don't remember what they package as. Just now filled a med mug with water, the 'creme size', and the measuring cup said 8oz. 20oz filled the large 'soap size'.
As memory tells me, they sell a small espresso size, that's too small (although maybe ok to mix/store fragrant oils or some such use).
What I call medium is what I use for the cremes, and a large that I use for the soaps. Something like $20 or $30 I think in black, red and white; then again that is memory so don't kill me if I got it wrong.
Originally had the 'soap' size for regular kitchen use, but I dropped one, cracking one of the handles. With a little JB Weld, epoxied the handle on fine, but that's what led me to realize perfect for the soaps. Out of the 6 large mugs, put pucks of soap in bottom 5, labeled the mugs so I easily can find what I want. The top mug I keep a sealed soap, currently Proaso. No soap smells escape.
I actually brought one of the tubs in with me when I made later trip to get the 'creme size'. It was initially about 1/4" tight. Being just wire rod, with a natural division where the mug handles normally stick through, it was no issue to stretch just a little at the top and they slide in perfect fit. My lather bowl sits perfect, inverted on top of the stacks of cremes. Nicely drying it out.
The bottom tub stays about 1/4" off the counter top=no water traps under it if aggressively splashing. When clean up time comes around sooo easy to grab the two sleeves to move out of the way, without juggling a bunch of soap containers and a lather bowl.

If I had to pick the best of the bunch, Penhaligons would win by a mile. Their creams are easy to lather, provide great cushion and glide and smell amazing.
That Endymion definately gives the slickest smoothest lather of all my creams.
