My guess is you would be wasting your money if you wanted it to hone your straight razor. :shrug:
That's more for knife sharpening. It is probably very porous and looses alot of tiny pieces while being used (very loose binder).
I think that's shoddy of them to even list that as a hone for straight razors. 120/240? That's not even for kitchen knives. :mad:
Check the classifieds and wait for a good barber's hone.
Before you run around spending any money,I would suggest reading through the Wiki. It will answer any questions you may have as far as what gear you need and some of the pitfalls to avoid. I promise you will find answers to questions that you didn't even think to ask.

okay, thanks a lot guys for the replies :) I shall be a patient shavemeister(<-- did I just make up that word? idk) and wait for a Boss Barber Hone or something next week when I have cash to spend. :)
