Apologies to the Classified Sellers

I didn't know exactly where to put this, so I figured the beginners forum would work.

My hotmail account must have been hijacked as some spam was sent to two of the guys selling on the classifieds. Since I bought a lot of razors and a few hones there, I'm thinking that everyone I've bought something from must have received the same crap. :mad:

I apologize to all of you who may have received the email.

I've always kept the contact list in that account empty (I use it only for internet ordering). I'm thinking that the emails from all my past correspondence must have been used to generate the email addresses for the spam. I've since deleted all that correspondence.

I'm in the process of killing that email account and opening a new one. If anyone needs to get a hold of of me for any reason, they will be able to do so in my profile page once I get the new email account set up.

Bugger! What a pain! I feel for you brother. I use my hotmail address solely for stuff that I think I will end up with spam and as such don't have any important address' or personal stuff in there.
I have another email that is my private address and is used for a select group of family/friends.
And then I have another email for my, 'Business'. It's only just a recent addition though.

Yeah, it's a PITA for sure! (And I'm really sorry to all those that got spammed!).

My biggest concern was my paypal was tied that email account, so I wanted to get that changed and a new password asap. Had Robert not written me about the spam, I would never had known. (Thanks, Robert!!).

And, I've got a new email account now, so if anyone that I bought anything from is having a problem getting paid, please email me to let me know so I can get it taken care of. (I don't think that's the case, but I as this moment, I don't know for sure).
