Looking for info on Wade & Butcher Commemorative Razors
I recently purchased a pre-1891 Wade & Butcher straight razor with a commemorative acid etching on the blade of Sir John A. MacDonald, the first Prime Minister of Canada. I've only come across two others like mine. One is of 1880's USA President Grover Cleveland and the other is of Lord Stanley (namesake of the NHL's Stanley Cup) who was made Governor General of Canada in 1888.
These are obviously commemorative razors but I haven't been able to find out much about them in any books or online. They must have been made in the late 1880's because of the dating of the Wade & Butcher logo and the terms served by MacDonald and Cleveland.
Does anyone know much more about these razors? Mine is in mint condition and I purchased it from a family in Ohio.

This photo of the Lord Stanley razor is not actually my photo but it was placed on eBay by the guy looking for info on his razor. I've been in dialogue with him because we're both looking for the same thing. His razor was in pretty rough shape and he listed it at an extremely high price primarily to gain info.
