A month ago I decided to get myself a cut throat for Christmas.
After a bit of reading and looking around I got myself an antique JA Henckels 5/8 French point.
Then I decided I should get a cheapie to practice honing and stropping on, so I got a Hugalt Works 7/8 French point. Despite being an unknown brand this was a NOS razor and actually is a very well made item.
Then I saw a very pretty Wester Bros "Atta Boy" 4/8 razor which I got purely because I liked the design. It also shaves very well, but was purchased purely for its art-deco aesthetics.
Since I had three German razors I felt I needed a Sheffield razor, so now I have a George Wostenholme 6/8 square point on its way to me.
Having read a bit more on the forums about restoration I got a bit enthused and looked for a project that will be within my skill set and now have a Joseph Rogers and Sons 5/8 square point with cracked handles and a bit of surface rust being packed and ready to be sent to me.
Next I will get ...
