Understanding the lingo

But what does PHIG stand for? It's a type of hone, I know that, but even I don't know what it means. Probably something stupid simple.

I still can't understand which way my beard grows haha. I just shave what would be considered WTG, XTG, and ATG, and it turns out fine!

PHIG = "People's Hone of Indeterminate Grit" A name bestowed on the infamous Chinese 12k by Holli4/Dylan after Utopian started a thread about the fact that we have no clue what grit it is :)

huh, wish I would have seen that wiki when I first started perusing this site. I thought some of your were speaking a foreign language at first.

Thanks Glen, I was really feeling stupid over that one. I did a search once (pre-google upgrade) to try and figure it out but all I could find were posts that used the term PHIG and no definition of what PHIG was.

I was sure it wasn't connected to the fruit!

So, are you going to tell us what mowfow means?

The best way to find this is let your facial hair grow out a few days and you will be able to see how it lays. I did this after a few months and realised that my xtg pass was actually atg and a major cause of alot of razor burn.

If I did I would be kicked off the forum. So Ill tell you the story, I was a computer techy a few years ago and attempting to set up an e-mail address. Every name I chose was taken.

A regular customer came in and got involved in my quest and asked (In his usual deep voice)
