I know this is an often referred to topic, the grind of a razor. To enlighten everyone, what is the purpose of the grind, the meaning of each, and perhaps the advantages of one to another. The variety of grounds from full hollow to any grade of that all the way to a wedge can be found in the wet shaving world. How can one determine their grind by looks? And what are people's opinions in that regard?
I just envision a full wedge shape and then consider how much of that steel has been removed. If half has been removed, roughly, then it's a half hollow. If almost all of it, it's a full hollow. Other variations can be interpolated from there.
